A different day, a different hospital...this time my favourite Great Ormond Street

On the 5th September 2018 I was back in my favourite hospital, Great Ormond Street to have another heart MRI. I’d had one in 2017 and have had numerous throughout my life so I know exactly what to expect. This is the first heart MRI I’d ever been to alone as mum was busy and I hate asking my friends to sit around in hospitals with me as it’s sooo dull for them.

I love going back to Great Ormond Street as it is where I’ve had all my previous operations. It is a magical, special and fantastic hospital. It is filled with love and smiles, joy, hope and kindness. It brings back memories of making chocolate refrigerator cake with the nurses and running up and down the corridors with my sisters.

The MRI is much the same as my liver one but they look at my heart. The dye they inject leaves metallic taste in your mouth  and makes you feel like you are peeing. I chose Love Actually to watch in the MRI machine as it’s one of my all time favourites.

A HUGE thank you to all the staff at https://www.gosh.nhs.uk/ for making it such a happy and hopeful hospital to visit
