Let’s not forget my little liver...

Due to my heart condition I am also under the care of a liver consultant. I can’t name names but he is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and I trust him which means that I don’t worry about my liver because I know he’ll take care of me.

So on the 29th August it was time to go and have a routine liver MRI.

Some people dislike them because of the loud noise, I’m used to hospital machines now, although the dye feels weird when it is moving through your veins. It either gives you a warm sensation making it feel like your peeing or leaves a metallic taste in your mouth.

I’ve always tried not to panic, this said I’m still afraid of needles and find I have to look in the opposite direction whenever they need to use one
